Texas High School Basketball - Nixon can't hold off Round Rock

The Round Rock Dragons basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Nixon Mustangs to 52 in the Dragons non-league victory on Friday.

The Dragons now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Taft for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Round Rock will battle a Raiders team coming off a 72-59 non-league win over Trinity (Euless, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 10-5.

The Mustangs (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Euless, TX). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Trinity was nudged by Taft (San Antonio, TX), 72-59, in a non-league contest.
