California High School Basketball - Westwood overwhelmed by Pershing County

December 9, 2022: Westwood, CA 96137

The Pershing County Mustangs basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Westwood Lumberjacks to 28 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pyramid Lake for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15.

The Lumberjacks (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville (Greenville, CA). The Indians come into the Pioneer contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Greenville triumphed over Paradise Adventist Academy (Paradise, CA), 53-42, in a league contest.
