The St. Martin's Episcopal Saints (Metairie, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Phoenix Spartans (Braithwaite, LA), 93-71 in Friday's non-league test.
The Saints (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA). The go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Haynes Academy was trounced by Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA), 62-45, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to French Settlement for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 13. Phoenix will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 67-57 non-league loss to Walker (Walker, LA). The Lions record now stands at 5-2.
