In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Vandegrift Vipers basketball team scored a good 72-53 triumph over the Tuloso-Midway Warriors/Cherokees.

In their next game, the Vipers meet the Deer Park Deer (Deer Park, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 10. Vandegrift will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Deer enter the match with a 13-5 record after their 67-43 non-league win over Pleasanton (Pleasanton, TX).
