Acalanes Dons (Lafayette, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA), 69-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Acalanes upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Dons host Alhambra (Martinez, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-3.

Next up, the Highlanders play the Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 38-18 non-league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).
