Calumet New Tech Warriors (Gary, IN) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting 21st Century Charter COUGARS (Gary, IN), 51-32 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Calumet New Tech upgrades its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Illiana Christian (Dyer, IN) to confront the Vikings in a Greater South Shore battle on Saturday, December 10. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Illiana Christian lost 71-16 in their recent non-league battle against Hobart (Hobart, IN)

The COUGARS (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Marquette Catholic (Michigan City, IN). The Blazers come into the non-league battle with a 6-4 record.
