In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Fleming Colonels basketball team scored a decisive 49-27 triumph over the Albemarle Patriots.
In their next game, the Colonels meet the Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 16. Fleming will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
With the defeat, Albemarle moves to 0-2 on the year. The Patriots travel to Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA) to meet the Flying Flucos in a Jefferson match on Tuesday, December 13. The Flying Flucos enter the match with a record of 1-3.
