Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Montgomery Vikings (Santa Rosa, CA), 43-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Amador Valley upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Dons travel to Petaluma (Petaluma, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Petaluma won 41-33 in their recent non-league bout against Capuchino (San Bruno, CA)

Next up, the Vikings play the Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Gauchos go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 70-27 non-league loss to Acalanes (Lafayette, CA).
