Georgia High School Basketball - Apalachee tipped by Monroe Area

The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Apalachee Wildcats to 47 in the Purple Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Purple Hurricanes now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winder-Barrow for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Monroe Area will meet a Bulldoggs team coming off a 63-32 league loss to Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Bulldoggs record now stands at 1-8.
The Wildcats (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, East Jackson nudged Discovery (Lawrenceville, GA), 52-32, in a non-league contest.
