The Aquilla Cougars basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Bartlett Bulldogs to 25 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 11-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perrin-Whitt for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Aquilla will battle a Pirates team coming off a 46-29 non-league loss to Community Christian (Mineral Wells, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 1-3.

The Bulldogs (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Hearne (Hearne, TX). The Eagles enter the 2A Region IV District 27 contest with a 11-6 record.
