With the victory, Rector improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Marmaduke (Marmaduke, AR) to confront the Greyhounds in a 2A Region 3 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Pioneers confront the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors (Little Rock, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Batesville will attempt to improve on its 3-6 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 59-48 non-league win over Paragould (Paragould, AR).
