Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Greenup County Musketeers (Greenup, KY), 58-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blazer upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Tomcats host Ironton (Ironton, OH) to clash with the Fighting Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Fighting Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-6. Ironton lost 35-20 in their recent league bout against South Point (South Point, OH)

Next up, the Musketeers clash with the Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Greenup County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
