Village Vikings (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX), 65-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Village upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX) to play the Brahmas in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Brahmas go into the bout with a record of 7-4. East Bernard won 34-32 in their recent non-league bout against Wharton (Wharton, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the East Bernard Brahmas (East Bernard, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Brazos will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Brahmas go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 58-36 non-league loss to Royal (Brookshire, TX).
