In their next game, the Trojans face the North Hopkins Panthers (Sulphur Springs, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, December 13. Cumby will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 8-7 record after their 61-59 non-league win over Rivercrest (Bogata, TX).

With the defeat, Callisburg moves to 6-5 on the year. The Wildcats host Boyd (Boyd, TX) to face the Yellowjackets in a 3A Region II District 10 game on Tuesday, December 13. The Yellowjackets enter the game with a record of 1-3. Boyd lost 83-23 in their recent non-league game against Slidell (Slidell, TX)
