The Community Christian Academy Warriors basketball team (Bessemer City, NC), was overwhelmed 48-11 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC)

The Sharks now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rockwell Christian School for a NCCSA A District 2 battle on Tuesday, December 13.

The Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC). The Eagles come into the Western Piedmont battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Pinnacle Classical Academy trounced Challenger (Hickory, NC), 64-22, in a league outing.
