Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Crescent Valley Raiders (Corvallis, OR) and the visiting Crater Comets (Central Point, OR), saw Crescent Valley's basketball squad tip Crater by a count of 55-52.

The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against South Albany (Albany, OR). The Redhawks go into the 5A Mid-Willamette outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, South Albany held off North Eugene (Eugene, OR), 49-37, in a non-league outing.

The Comets now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Willamette for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10.
