Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wheaton Knights (Silver Spring, MD), 78-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Damascus upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets travel to Poolesville (Poolesville, MD) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Poolesville lost 49-33 in their recent non-league bout against Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD)
