Watkinson Rams (Hartford, CT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dublin Wildcats (Dublin, NH), 44-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Watkinson upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Rocky Hill Country Day Mariners (East Greenwich, RI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Dublin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Mariners go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 49-41 non-league loss to Bancroft (Worcester, MA).
