Santa Monica Vikings (Santa Monica, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Eagle Rock Eagles (Los Angeles, CA), 57-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Santa Monica upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Harvard-Westlake won 79-46 in their recent non-league bout against Birmingham (Lake Balboa, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Eagle Rock will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Lancers go into the bout with a 10-0 record after their 52-21 non-league win over El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA).
