Texas High School Basketball - Era knocked off by Howe

The Howe Bulldogs basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Era Hornets to 28 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Slidell for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Howe will battle a Greyhounds team coming off a 58-27 non-league win over Collinsville (Collinsville, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 12-0.

The Hornets (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lindsay (Lindsay, TX). The Knights enter the 2A Region II District 13 contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Lindsay ran past Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX), 61-24, in a non-league contest.
