Foothill Cougars (Palo Cedro, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 46-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Foothill upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to University Prep (Redding, CA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 4-0. University Prep won 44-30 in their recent non-league bout against Placer (Auburn, CA)

Next up, the Hillmen play the Enterprise Hornets (Redding, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Placer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 57-23 non-league loss to Del Oro (Loomis, CA).
