Virginia High School Basketball - South County trounces Hayfield

The South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) basketball crushed the host Hayfield Hawks (Alexandria, VA), 50-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Stallions (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA). The Titans go into the District 4 test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Alexandria City was trounced by Westfield (Chantilly, VA), 45-42, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Justice for a District 5 test on Tuesday, December 13. Hayfield will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 37-34 league loss to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-3.
