Virginia High School Basketball - Independence knocked off by Loudoun County

The Loudoun County Captains basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting Independence to 40 in the Captains non-league triumph on Friday.

The Captains now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broad Run for a Dulles contest on Monday, December 12.

The (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Millbrook (Winchester, VA). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Millbrook was outscored by Gainesville (Gainesville, VA), 54-37, in a non-league contest.
