The McLean Highlanders basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials to 44 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. McLean will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 62-16 non-league win over Forest Park (Woodbridge, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-0.

The Colonials (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Edison (Alexandria, VA). The Eagles enter the District 5 contest with a 4-0 record.
