The Seaside Seagulls basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Newport Cubs to 25 in the Seagulls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Seagulls now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Klamath Union for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Seaside will meet a Pelicans team coming off a 46-43 non-league win over Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Pelicans record now stands at 1-3.
The Cubs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Junction City (Junction City, OR). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Junction City was outscored by Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
