Juarez Eagles (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Englewood Stem Panthers (Chicago, IL), 25-8 in a league bout.

With the victory, Juarez upgrades its record to 1-5 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Muchin College Prep (Chicago, IL) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Mountain Lions come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Muchin College Prep lost 9-8 in their recent league bout against Comer (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Julian Jaguars (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 12. Englewood Stem will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
