In Friday's non-league outing, the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA), by a count of 30-24.
The Norsemen (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Morse (San Diego, CA). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 6-1 record. In their last outing, Morse held off El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA), 50-22, in a non-league outing.
The Mustangs now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Granite Hills for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 10. Otay Ranch will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 34-18 non-league win over Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
