Banks Academy Jets (Birmingham, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pickens Academy Pirates (Carrollton, AL), 55-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Banks Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Jets travel to Bessemer Academy (Bessemer, AL) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Bessemer Academy won 32-24 in their recent non-league bout against Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL)

Next up, the Pirates play the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles (Hoover, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Pickens Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 42-20 non-league win over Tuscaloosa Home Educators (Northport, AL).
