Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS) and the host Canton Academy Panthers (Canton, MS), saw Sylva Bay Academy's basketball squad knock off Canton Academy by a tally of 40-20.

With the victory, Sylva Bay Academy improves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Panthers play the Hillcrest Christian Cougars (Jackson, MS) in a challenge, on Monday, January 9. Canton Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
