The University Prep Panthers basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Chico Panthers to 51 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pleasant Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. University Prep will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-30 non-league win over Foothill (Palo Cedro, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-1.

The Panthers (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, River Valley prevailed over Pioneer (Woodland, CA), 51-45, in a non-league contest.
