Hershey Trojans (Hershey, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Freire Charter Dragon (Philadelphia, PA), 33-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hershey upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Dragon play the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils (Philadelphia, PA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Freire Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 51-25 non-league win over Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA).
