White River Tigers (White River, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD), 33-19 in a league bout.

With the win, White River upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.

Next up, the Coyotes clash with the Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Jones County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
