California High School Basketball - University City crushes Monte Vista

December 9, 2022: Spring Valley, CA 91977

University City Centurions (San Diego, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Monte Vista Monarchs (Spring Valley, CA), 66-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University City upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Centurions travel to Christian (El Cajon, CA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

Next up, the Monarchs play the Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Monte Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
