The Marion County Knights basketball team (Lebanon, KY), dropped 44-36 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY)
The Eagles now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McLean County for a District 10 battle on Tuesday, December 12. Apollo will confront a Cougars team coming off a 63-53 non-league win over Evansville Day (Evansville, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
The Knights (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Green County dropped by Augusta (Augusta, KY), 75-73, in a non-league battle.
