West Virginia High School Basketball - Huntington Prep nudges Archbishop Wood

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Huntington Prep Kings (Huntington, WV) basketball squad edged the visiting Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA), by a count of 73-70.

The Kings (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against Wesley Christian (Allen, KY). The Circuit Riders go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Wesley Christian was tipped by Shady Spring (Shady Spring, WV), 80-30, in a non-league outing.

The Vikings now hold a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to DeMatha for a non-league outing on Sunday, December 10. Archbishop Wood will clash with a Stags squad coming off a 80-54 non-league win over Campbell Hall (North Hollywood, CA). The Stags record now stands at 5-0.
