The Ashland Blue Jays (Ashland, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Deerfield Spartans (Deerfield, KS), 51-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Blue Jays (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Ingalls (Ingalls, KS). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record.

The Spartans now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Moscow for a Santa Fe Trail test on Thursday, December 14.
