Illinois High School Basketball - Bloom tipped by Brother Rice

The Brother Rice Crusaders basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Bloom Blazing Trojan to 45 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Crusaders now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montini Catholic for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Brother Rice will meet a Broncos team coming off a 56-47 non-league loss to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 1-5.
The Blazing Trojan (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Thornwood (South Holland, IL). The Thunderbirds enter the Southland contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Thornwood nudged Crete-Monee (Crete, IL), 44-37, in a league contest.
