Shea Raiders (Pawtucket, RI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Central Falls Warriors (Central Falls, RI), 52-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Shea upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Raiders host St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI) to play the Saints in a Division 2 bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 0-1. St. Raphael Academy lost 55-47 in their recent non-league bout against Tolman (Pawtucket, RI)
Next up, the Warriors play the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) in a Division 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Central Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 71-63 non-league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
