Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) and the host Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), saw Thomas Stone's basketball squad overcome Churchill by a tally of 62-54.
With the victory, Thomas Stone improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host North Point (Waldorf, MD) to play the Eagles in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, December 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD) in a Montgomery 4A East challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. Churchill will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
