The Collegiate Spartans (Wichita, KS) basketball crushed the host Independence Bulldogs (Independence, KS), 65-34 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Andale (Andale, KS). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Andale walloped Valley Center (Valley Center, KS), 57-52, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Labette County for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Independence will encounter a Grizzlies squad coming off a 60-40 non-league loss to Circle (Towanda, KS). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-4.
