Illinois High School Basketball - Lexington winner over Cornerstone Christian

December 9, 2023: Bloomington, IL 61705

The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) basketball felled the host Cornerstone Christian Cyclones (Bloomington, IL), 55-39 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Minutemen (6-2) will now prepare for their test against Tremont (Tremont, IL). The Turks go into the Heart of Illinois test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Tremont was beaten by Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL), 72-63, in a non-league test.

The Cyclones now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Hartsburg-Emden for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Cornerstone Christian will encounter a Stags squad coming off a 69-32 non-league loss to Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL). The Stags record now stands at 1-8.
