Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eastern Eagles (Louisville, KY) and the visiting Tates Creek Commodores (Lexington, KY), saw Eastern's basketball squad overcome Tates Creek by a tally of 63-43.
With the victory, Eastern improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Henry Clay (Lexington, KY) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Henry Clay won 64-62 in their recent non-league challenge against North Laurel (London, KY)
Next up, the Commodores play the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a District 43 challenge, on Monday, December 11. Tates Creek will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 79-50 non-league win over Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY).
