Father Tolton (Columbia, MO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lyon County Lyons (Eddyville, KY), 71-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Father Tolton upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The travel to Central (Springfield, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 17. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Central won 74-55 in their recent non-league bout against Carthage (Carthage, MO)

Next up, the Lyons play the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a District 5 bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Lyon County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 66-50 league win over Crittenden County (Marion, KY).
