The Franklin County Flyers (Frankfort, KY) basketball nipped the visiting Lafayette Generals (Lexington, KY), 70-69 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Flyers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Nelson County (Bardstown, KY). The Cardinals go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Nelson County was tipped by Bardstown (Bardstown, KY), 69-38, in a league test.
The Generals now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bryan Station for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Lafayette will encounter a Defenders squad coming off a 56-41 non-league win over Madison Central (Richmond, KY). The Defenders record now stands at 4-0.
