Washington, DC High School Basketball - National Christian Academy can't hold off Friendship Collegiate Academy

December 9, 2023: Washington, DC 20019

The Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting National Christian Academy Eagles to 64 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.

The Knights now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Takoma Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Friendship Collegiate Academy will battle a Tigers team coming off a 66-53 non-league win over McKinley Tech (Washington, DC). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Evergreen Christian (Leesburg, VA). The Eagles come into the Freelance contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Evergreen Christian edged New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD), 101-68, in a league contest.
