The Gibault Catholic Hawks basketball team (Waterloo, IL), was overwhelmed 76-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Mehlville Panthers (St. Louis, MO)
The Panthers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12.
The Hawks (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mater Dei (Breese, IL). The Knights come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Mater Dei was overwhelmed by Belleville East (Belleville, IL), 59-51, in a non-league battle.
