The Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR), 52-35 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Spartans (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Santiam Christian (Corvallis, OR). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Santiam Christian went down by Klamath Union (Klamath Falls, OR), 59-40, in a non-league test.
The Gladiators now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tillamook for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Gladstone will encounter a Cheesemakers squad coming off a 59-41 non-league loss to Valley Catholic (Beaverton, OR). The Cheesemakers record now stands at 0-2.
