Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA), 75-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Granada upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Matadors travel to Benicia (Benicia, CA) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Benicia won 65-62 in their recent league bout against Miramonte (Orinda, CA)

Next up, the Giants clash with the Branson Bulls (Ross, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 12. Redwood will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Bulls enter the game with a 4-1 record after their 63-60 non-league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA).
