Magnolia Bulldogs (Magnolia, TX) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Grapeland Sandies (Grapeland, TX), 52-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Magnolia upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lamar Consolidated (Rosenberg, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Lamar Consolidated lost 43-36 in their recent non-league bout against Channelview (Channelview, TX)

Next up, the Sandies clash with the Douglass Indians (Douglass, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Grapeland will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 61-58 non-league loss to Frankston (Frankston, TX).
