The Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL) basketball felled the visiting Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL), 70-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Warriors (10-0) will now prepare for their test against Sparta (Sparta, IL). The Bulldogs go into the Cahokia - Illinois test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Sparta thwarted Johnston City (Johnston City, IL), 84-52, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Okawville for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Greenville will encounter a Rockets squad coming off a 44-29 non-league loss to Steeleville (Steeleville, IL). The Rockets record now stands at 3-3.
